Here's a Message of HOPE Especially for You...
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
God created you and all of creation, and He said it was very good. It was perfect, including the first man (Adam) and woman (Eve). They were created to live forever; they did not have any sickness or imperfections. God walked with them every day in the beautiful garden He created especially for them. As Creator, He also gave them instructions that were in keeping with His plan. However, one fateful day, Adam and Eve chose their own way over the Creator’s way - they sinned.
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God walking ...and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. (Genesis 3:8)
So the Lord God sent them away from the garden of Eden … (Genesis 3:23)
Their fateful decision forever altered the course of mankind and our relationship to God our Creator. No one was exempt from the effects of their sin against God.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
All of mankind is now flawed by sin, and are thereby separated from God and condemned to physical and spiritual death.
But your iniquities are separating you from your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not listen. (Isaiah 59:2)
For the wages of sin is death... (Romans 6:23a)
It is this sin and the curse of death we are under that brings all of the hopelessness we see in the lives of people and in the world today.
...but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23b)
God was not content to leave us in our sin and hopelessness. He created us for a life with Him in His presence, just like those walks in the garden.
16 For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Anyone who believes in him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. (John 3:16-18)
In order to erase the stain and effects of sin from mankind, God became man (Jesus), took our sins upon Himself, paid the grueling price for our sins, and offered His righteousness to all who would believe in Him. All who believe in Jesus, have escaped the condemnation they deserve, and have been gifted the eternal life the Creator intended. However, to reject the offer of salvation is a choice to remain in brokenness, hopelessness, and in sin. That decision insures condemnation from God to include eternal spiritual death and suffering apart from Him in hell.
9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)
Jesus came and died in your place so that you wouldn’t suffer eternal death with no hope of relief. What is required of you is to believe (have faith) in and publicly confess that Jesus paid the penalty for your sins on the cross, and that He rose from the grave. It is a salvation that you could not earn or achieve on your own.
8 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— 9 not from works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
God loves you unconditionally. He loved you enough to send Jesus to die in your place, and enough to offer ultimate salvation free of any cost to you—though it cost Him His life.
We pray that you have heard God’s voice speaking to your heart as you have read this good news. If you have heard from Him, He’s waiting on you to respond in faith. He’ll take away the curse of your sin, give you His righteousness, and you will have HOPE in Jesus!
See! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20
Simply voice a prayer from your heart expressing your faith in Jesus, sorrow for your sins, and your decision to turn from your sin and toward God. He’ll hear you, He’ll save you, and come to live within you.
If you just prayed from your heart expressing sincere repentance and faith in Jesus, then you can rest assured that He has adopted you into His family, and that you are now a new creation in Christ!
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come! 2 Corintians 5:17
So then...
Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. (Matthew 3:8 NLT)
